ACE Connector for z/OS Connect available March 2025!

Exposing IBM z/OS Connect APIs has just got even easier with the introduction of a new connector in IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE). This new connector provides a seamless and streamlined experience for integrating with IBM Z data and applications. Expose your IBM Z APIs built in z/OS Connect to those working within the broader integration services in your organisation.

What Does This Mean?
This enables organisations to create tightly coupled automation flows that leverage the data and applications across the enterprise. To compliment ACE’s connector palette, IBM have developed a seamless experience to integrate z/OS Connect OpenAPIs to be socialised to those integrating across the organisation.

Key benefits of the new connector include:
• Easy exposure of z/OS data and applications to the rest of the enterprise to make your APIs simple and easy to use.
• Simplified process for creating and publishing APIs which unlocks value to the enterprise.
• Increased adoption and reuse of OpenAPIs across the organization.

How to Use the Connector
Getting your z/OS Connect APIs visible within the ACE palette is easy. The only configuration details you’ll need to share are the URL, username and password of the z/OS Connect Server.
