1 Week after IBM TechXchange 2025!

Wow, it’s hard to believe it was only one week ago that IBM TechXchange 2025 happened. Stepping back, the first thing that comes to mind is Thank you!! Thank you to the Clients, the IBM Champions, our IBM Business Partners and all the teams that attended TechXchange and made it what it was. A special thank you to the team that ran the conference for us so we could all have such a good time throughout the event. You made it easy and a great experience to be there.

Just a couple of highlights from Storage @ IBM TechXchange;

IBM Champions in action; we had such a great turn out of IBM Champions as speakers and participants at TechXchange, it made it one of the best experiences for me. I can’t begin to cover everything the IBM Champions did at TechXchange, but I do want to bring your attention to just a few things; @Laura Tuller and @Tony Owens for doing one of the last sessions of the conference and still packing the room! @Ian Wright for his session and feedback to some of our Product Management teams onsite. @Darren Sanders for his session, @Sejid Canoski for his time with the Storage teams and @Stephan Durand for everything!

Also, who could forget @Nezih Boyacioglu at TechXchange this year, not only did he and @Barry Whyte pack a room, but also, for winning the Community Hero Award at the closing ceremony.

By the way, IBM Champions Nominations for 2026 are open until November 21st.

IBM Storage Booth; Thank you to everyone that came by the Storage Booth at TechXchange, not only did we make the closing ceremonies video (look for the lightsabers) but also everyone who came for the meetings, discussions, Meet the Expert sessions and of course the demos! Below is @Matt Key in action for his Demo on Ransomware detection with IBM FlashSystem! By the way, if you’re curious about that capability, there’s a new blog this week on it!

What did I find cool at IBM TechXchange? Well, yes, all of the Storage programs, demos and labs we had running, especially around things like IBM Content Aware Storage (CAS). If you’ve never seen us talk about that, @Mike Kieran does a great video on the topic.

What else did I find cool? Well it is hard to miss a giant Ferrari on the event floor, hearing about that in the main session was really interesting. Along that F1 line, I thought our announcement last week about IBM and Mission44 was also really exciting.

By the way, if you haven’t had a chance to read @Maria McDade's blog about IBM TechXchange, have a quick read here. Maria and @TONI Miller were absolute rock stars all week!

Now, keep in mind, we are 1 year and 1 week away from IBM TechXchange 2026, which will be in Atlanta starting on Oct 26th, I’m already marking my calendar in anticipation – see you there?
