That’s a wrap from the RSA Conference for 2025! IBM had a great presence, with awesome attendance at the IBM booth, great discussions, and Data Resilience was a key theme at the event this year. 

At the IBM booth we had demo’s running that featured IBM Storage Defender and IBM FlashSystem, as well as IBM Guardium, IBM Verify, and IBM Quantum Safe. We had great discussions about how Ransomware Threat Detection works with the IBM FlashSystem FCM4 and IBM Defender Data Protect’s ability to do rapid recovery, and how both have immutable copy capabilities. One of the most popular discussions was around IBM Storage Defender Data Protect and IBM Storage Defender Data Resiliency Service (DRS). We also had a lot of discussions on our DRS demo. If you’re curious, you could see an example of that demo on the replay of this webinar from our Tech Tuesday series titled “What’s new with Storage Defender.”

IBM hosted multiple booth sessions each day across our entire portfolio, and we had great attendance at both IBM Storage Sessions. I presented the below sessions on Wednesday and Thursday:

• "Data Resilience; from detection, to response to rapid recovery" featuring how you can flow from governance, to threat detection to safe and fast recovery combining the power of IBM FlashSystem and IBM Storage Defender DRS and Defender Data Protect.
• "AI is a Double-Edged Sword: Navigating the New Cyber Battlefield" where we focused on the infusion of AI across the IBM FlashSystem and Storage Defender family and how that can help detect data corruption at many different levels.
