Does the new version 9 of the IBM ODM Decision Manager support the Tomcat 10.1 server?

    The background is following customer question: we need to upgrade the Java component Spring to version 6, as version 5 is out of support. However, Spring 6 requires Tomcat 10.1. In the published documentation, IBM ODM only supports version 9, but no higher versions. IBM support said that ODM would "probably" run with the higher version, but customer should contact product management. But we would like to get confirmation of this from IBM in advance.
    Since Spring and Tomcat are widely used components, the information is certainly also interesting for other customers.

    If nobody can gave me this confirmation, has anybody an idea whom I can contact from the product management?

    This is a request that the ODM team has started working on. 
    But adding full support for Tomcat 10.1 in ODM is not as straightforward as for previous Tomcat versions. This is due to the switch to Jakarta EE, with newer versions of Servlet and JSP specs. ODM team will need to apply significant updates to the product before it can be natively compliant with Tomcat 10.1.
    That being said, there is a compatibility flag in Tomcat 10.1 to keep running applications that are based on older foundation specs. The short-term priority for the ODM team is to validate ODM 9.0 support for Tomcat 10.1 with the compatibility flag activated.
