Think Outside The Bot!
IBM Build-A-Bot Challenge is back, bigger and better, with new challenges and more ways to win prizes and swag. The first Challenge, launched in June, brought out the innovation in our Community; more than 200 individuals downloaded the IBM Robotic Process Automation 30-day free trial and went to work. Many contestants said they learned how to use IBM RPA in a matter of hours and most of the submissions were created over a period of days.
It was so exciting to see individuals and teams creating with IBM RPA that we wanted to launch another contest as soon as possible. The new contest builds on what we learned in the first one, and incorporates improvements recommended by contestants. For example, the new Challenge is open to IBM clients, individuals, students, and Business Partners worldwide, and there are more ways to win prizes, and contestants have more time to be creative (sorry but contest rules prohibit IBMers and Government-owned entities from participating).

Build-A-Bot 2.0 Launches December 15, 2021 With Three Challenges To Get You Going
Visit this site to sign up, so you’re ready to go on the December 15 when the Challenge is officially launched. You'll find Contest Rules and lots of resources to get started using IBM RPA, including video tutorials and start-up guides. Join the RPA Topic Group in the IBM Automation Communities to meet other RPA enthusiasts and stay current on IBM RPA. The first 50 contestants that Register AND sign up to the RPA Topic Group will win a free T shirt.
The new Build-A-Bot Challenge presents three challenges, which gives you a broad range to conceive your solution:
- IBM RPA Solution for Social Good - Automate a solution to help the world!
- IBM RPA Solution to Solve a Client Need - Great for Business Partners who want to Impress Their Customers
- IBM RPA Solution to Improve a Workplace Problem - There's no Shortage of Opportunities!
