With any version change, there are considerations that need to made around usability and ensuring your end users are trained on any changes to the navigation and interaction with the product as they migrate to newer interfaces.
With the Maximo Application Suite there is a new look and feel or 'skin' that has been updated for the Manage (EAM) applications.
There aren't major differences, you will still find the left hand navigation with all your modules and applications, but there are some differences worth noting....especially the ones that respond to some of the requests for improvement over previous versions, like 'anchoring' the tabs at the top of the application so you are always in context when the page scrolls vertically.
Jordan Smith has put together the attached document and video to highlight the differences between MAS and prior Maximo versions when it comes to navigation and the user experience.
Use this information in your upgrade planning exercises as you size the various tasks along the upgrade journey like training considerations.
