Recommended development environment configuration
MobileFirst Studio or MobileFirst Server on an administrative workstation connected to a development Maximo Asset Management server.
Recommended production environment configuration
MobileFirst Server on a WebSphere Application Server cluster connected to a Maximo Asset Management server cluster through an SSL enabled load balancer with MobileFirst and Maximo Anywhere services and api exposed through a DMZ firewall setup.

Build configuration
This mobile app integrates with MobileFirst Server that is deployed on either WebSphere Liberty or WebSphere Application Server with DB2 or Oracle multi-instances and might include a cluster setup. This app requires a mobile administrative workstation to deploy the MobileFirst runtime and the OSLC Adapter that comes with an on premise Maximo Anywhere deployment. Refer to the Maximo Anywhere Knowledge Center for detailed setup instructions.
With the prebuilt apps that are available on Google Play, you avoid having to build the on premise app and go through the deployment process. However, you still must build the app’s web archive (WAR) file with specific mobile build targets enabled (Android) and deploy the file to your MobileFirst Server along with the OSLC adapter to support your Maximo Asset Management integration and UX extensions. Maximo Anywhere 7.6.2 provides a new build configuration (build -mobilefirst) that allows you to publish these archive files without going through the app build process.
Download and connection information
The system administrator for your company's Maximo Anywhere environment should be the one to download this app from Google Play and then distribute it to authorized Maximo Asset Management users. As with all apps on the Google Play, updates to the app are made available to all users that have downloaded the IBM Maximo Anywhere Work Execution app. To download this app, access Google Play from your device and search on the name of the app that you want to download:
