    Hi,

     

    I have a business requirement to show Maximo work orders in a calendar view in Outlook.  We use Maximo 7.6.09.    Is there a way to do so?  We do not use scheduler or graphical assignment manager.

    Otherwise I suggest you have a look at an add-on created by EAM Swiss (EAM Flex Calendar Add-On). They have created an ability to add an outlook view in Maximo, besides they also have a feature to sync the work orders to your outlook calendar.

    Attached is a Javascript / Nashorn based Automation script to send an outlook vCalendar formatted calendar invite.  You can attach it to the proper launch point and pull out your own values as appropriate.  This example only sends a single invite to a single person, but if you need something a little more complicated with multiple people on the invite it can be pretty easily modified.

    I watched a presentation from EAM Swiss GmbH where they had developed an add-on with the same look and feel as Outlook Calendar to handle WO in desktop view.
