Please suggest if there is any way to capture the User details in the logs whenever Download option is being clicked on list screen.

    Thanks

Have you tried configuring the log4j.logger.maximo.webclient.eventtracking logger? (See https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/maximo-asset-management-logging for more info on this logger.)

    Hi Pavani,

Interesting question, one that I don't have an answer.  I cannot wrap my head around the why?  I don't know of a use case that would cover the need to know if someone has pressed the download button.  Can we get a bit more information?

Jason's answer has assumed that you're looking to put the result into the Maximo log, but the problem with that (if at all possible) is that the logs get overwritten.  Is the assumption correct?

Most probably some data security. Maybe to improve some reporting, to check, what users are doing.

I don't know, exactly, where that kdownload button lives, maybe somewhere in library.xml ? But if you find it, maybe you can add some mxevent, or maybe there is some already there, and then you can attach some script then to it which does something.
