Subject: Do cloned Maximo Mobile applications get overwritten with version upgrades?
Thank you for the information Bartosz. If I read it correctly it sounds like it is not upgraded automatically and I would need to upgrade the dup manually. If that is the case that is what I was hoping would happen.

Hi Christopher,
Please check this IBM documentation "Application upgrade using the Maximo Application Framework Configuration application", I think there you will find the answers for your questions, for example: "(...) if you configure a duplicate application, the application is not impacted by an upgrade or fix pack."
Please also check "Upgrade example" documentation which describes what needs to be done to upgrade your duplicate application.

When we upgrade to a new version of Maximo whether that is an ifix, or full upgrade, the default mobile apps are delivered with the upgrade. If we had made any custom changes to the apps they are reverted back to the default build of the mobile application.
If I clone an application though, does that secondary one also get overwritten and revered back to default? If I clone Techmobile and call it WOMgmgt for example, when the default build is applied what would happen to the cloned app? Would it remain and not be reverted back to default? Would it be completely removed as it is not in the default build?
