  • 1.  Data Update>Waiting to Update and No Synchronization in progress

    Hi All,

    We have developed a custom Maximo Mobile application.

    When trying to test in Mobile, the data related to the custom application is getting downloaded but the Data Update page  is showing Waiting to Update with blue spinning wheel and No Synchronization in progress message with no further progress .No details on what data it is trying to update .

    Did anyone face this ?Any suggestions to try our hands on please?

    Note: The same application works fine with all the customizations intact as a role based application.

    What version of Maximo Mobile are you using? In Maximo Mobile 8.8+ we implemented a lot of improvements to the data sync process so we could be more explicit about what we're synchronizing and any issues that occur . In 8.10 in a few weeks we're enhancing this even more. If you're running 8.7 or earlier you should investigate updating to a newer release.

    The issue was with one of our custom configured data source in the application.

    We were able to resolve this issue and was able to download the application after modifying the data source.
