  • 1.  Can you reverse an UPDATE command in SQL

    Posted Tue January 18, 2022 09:59 AM

    Hello,

I did an UPDATE command in our TEST Maximo DB in SQL Server Management Studio and accidentally updated records. Is there a way to reverse this command?

Usually not Chelsea.  SQL Server normally has implicit commit set so unless you started your update statement with a "begin transaction", I doubt you'd be unable to undo it.  Being a Test system hopefully you can get it refreshed from your production system and you can try again.
