The IBM TechXchange 2025 conference is back and better than ever! Taking place from October 6-9 in Orlando, Florida, this event is built by technologists, for technologists. And here’s the best part: we want YOU to be a speaker—especially if you’re a Maximo expert!
What makes this event unique? Over 60% of the sessions will come from clients, IBM Champions, user group members, partners, and academics. This is your chance to showcase how you’re using IBM Maximo to solve real business challenges and be part of the VIPs of the event—the developers, engineers, architects, and data scientists who work with IBM products every day.

🚀 What We’re Looking For: Maximo Sessions
The Call for Speakers is open now through April 11, and we’re looking for Maximo-focused sessions in two formats:
🔹 20-minute Tech Talks: Concise discussions of Maximo use cases, case studies, or special topics. Perfect for sharing your expertise as a solo speaker.
🔹 60-minute Technology Breakouts: In-depth technical sessions showcasing Maximo best practices, architectures, and client success stories. You can co-present with an IBM rep if you like!
✍️ How to Submit Your Session
Submitting your session is easy! Here’s what you need to know:
-
Explain why your session matters: What makes your Maximo experience valuable for the TechXchange audience?
-
Choose the right category: Select IBM Maximo as the featured product.
-
Define your audience level: Introductory, Intermediate, or Advanced—choose what best fits your session.
Note: The TechXchange audience demands technical content—so focus on real-world applications, not marketing pitches. Sessions featuring client stories in partnership with IBM partners will receive extra consideration.
🎤 What Happens If Your Session Is Accepted?
If your session is selected, you’ll receive:
✅ An official invitation via email
✅ Access to the Speaker Portal (where you’ll submit your bio, headshot, and sign the consent form)
✅ A complimentary speaker pass—no registration code required!
The TechXchange team may also work with you to fine-tune your session focus to ensure a balanced curriculum for all attendees.
🌟 Speaker Coaching and Social Media Perks
All speakers get free access to professional coaching to refine their public speaking skills. Plus, the Speaker Portal provides social media tools so you can easily promote your session with custom-branded tiles and content.
💡 What Makes a Great Maximo Submission?
Maximo practitioners want to know how things work in the real world. Consider:
-
Sharing case studies: Tell a story from business need to results.
-
Discussing best practices: Show how you’ve optimized asset management with Maximo.
-
Including technical details: Attendees love deep dives into architecture and deployment.
The best sessions end with actionable insights and time for Q&A.
🚨 Don’t Miss Out—Submit by April 11!
This is your chance to become a recognized voice in the Maximo community at IBM TechXchange 2025. Share your expertise, connect with peers, and help shape the future of asset management.
