Track: Labs – Asset & Environmental Management

Lab Title Abstract
How to Effectively Implement ESG Monitoring and Reporting for Your Business: A Boiler Use Case Sustainability initiatives are coming into sharp focus for enterprise organizations today. While organizations are already incorporating sustainability metrics into decision-making and prioritizing specific elements of sustainability, they continue to face hurdles in operationalizing sustainability due to inadequate digital tools and limited data sharing. IBM technologies ENVIZI, MAXIMO, and TRIRIGA help customers operationalize their ESG goals. Learn from this lab how to leverage IBM technology to optimize your company's sustainability efforts and attain greater efficiency and effectiveness in achieving ESG goals. This lab will be an excellent opportunity for participants to learn how to effectively implement ESG monitoring and reporting with a boiler use case.
Installing Maximo Application Suite on a Single Node OpenShift (SNO) in IBM Cloud: A Hands-On Lab This lab teaches participants to install Maximo Application Suite (MAS) on a Single Node OpenShift (SNO) cluster in IBM Cloud. They will set up a vSphere-based environment, including a Bastion Server and a Router with DHCP, NAT, and DNS, and connect to it through VPN. They will learn to create an OpenShift installation ISO file using the Red Hat Console and use it to deploy a fully functional SNO cluster on a VM instance. Participants will also clone the MAS Ansible collection from GitHub and install a complete MAS environment that includes Manage and its demo data. The lab is ideal for IT professionals, system administrators, and cloud architects who want to gain practical experience deploying MAS on an SNO and using industry-standard tools and best practices.
Grounds up Red Hat OpenShift deployment with Maximo Application Suite

IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) is a set of applications for asset monitoring, management, predictive maintenance and reliability planning.

This workshop's objective is to live-demonstrate how OpenShift & MAS is implemented from grounds up. We will implement OpenShift & MAS practically and instruct on the fundamentals of IBM technologies during the allotted time with advance planning. The audience will leave the session knowing exactly what is needed to implement the Maximo Application Suite on the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform from the grounds up. This session will also involve installing OpenShift.
