Interactive Benchmarking 1.8 includes the following updates:
View-only role
A new view-only role allows users to browse through the Interactive Benchmarking application without the ability to make any changes to the application. For more information, see View-only role in Interactive Benchmarking.
Known issue: The Interactive Benchmarking drop-down in the top left corner lists applications that users might not be able to access.
Global Banking industry
The Global Banking industry has been added to the Industry Benchmarks section of the Interactive Benchmarking. This new industry includes global banks with an organization revenue of $20B+ and varying combinations of retail banking, wealth/asset management, equities, markets, and business banking.

LPAR and CPW as units of measure for midrange sub-tower
With this release, computer processing units for midrange sub-tower can now be expressed as logical partition (LPAR) units and commercial processing workload (CPW) units, in addition to the current million instuctions per seconds (MIPS) unit of measure. This update allows you to compare your midrange unit costs and FTE efficiency against three different units of measure. Note that cost allocation across units is not supported.
While the downloaded .csv file expresses the midrange unit cost and FTE efficiency benchmarking numbers in LPAR, CPW, and MIPS units, the CT Benchmarking reports are limited to a single unit of measure per tower. To change the unit of measure in the "CT Benchmarking Midrange" report:
- In Interactive Benchmarking, select a suitable unit of measure for the midrange sub-tower.
- To download benchmarks as a .csv file, click the Download Benchmarks as CSV button in the bottom right corner of the application.
- In your Cost Transparency project, update the Unified Benchmarking table with the downloaded "Unified_Benchmarks" .csv file.
- Update the Unit of Measure column for midrange in the Benchmark Configuration table (under Benchmark Mapping section).
- Update the Unit of Measure and Quantity columns for midrange in the IT Resource Towers Master Data table.
