Import device metadata into SevOne via CSV file

Description: Allows a user to fill in the appropriate columns and rows in a CSV file with metadata about a device.  

Rapid Infrastructure Automation Version: 2022.8 or later

Integrations required: SevOne minimum version 1.0.20

Authentication(s) needed: SevOne, SSH (needed for the SFTP server)

Infrastructure requirements: SFTP server where the csv file can be stored (SevOne NMS can be used if desired)

SevOne User Role: The user must be part of the administrator's group

Setup:

  • Download the test.csv file provided to a server via SCP - Rapid Infastructure Automation needs to be able to download the sheet before executing the automation.  If you need more information on how to set up a SSH/SFTP server please refer to the documentation for the operating system you are running on the intended server
  • You must modify the variable SevOne_Authkey in the start block to your current SevOne authentication name
  • You must modify the variable SFTP_authKey in the start block to your current SFTP SSH authentication name
  • You must modify the variable XLSX_file_path in the start block to your current file path of the excel (xlsx) file.
