I am seeing "failed to update view digest: unauthorized: FQDN is used by multiple zones on the same view, or there is a child/parent zone owned by a different org" when trying to create a DNS zone.

I understand that DNS zones are added to the parking lot to mitigate lame delegation hijacking. I also see some posts here asking domains to be removed. Is there a way to remove a domain zone from the parking lot without asking someone to unlock? In other words, can I remove NS1's name servers for the domain at the registrar and the DNS zone will automatically be removed from the parking lot?

Also, what if my DNS zone was created by another customer on NS1? Could I automatically resolve this without contacting support?

    Hi Ivan

You are correct, DNS zones are added to the parking lot to mitigate lame delegation hijacking. This process is automated.  Removing a zone from NS1's parking account has to be done by the NS1 Support Engineer. Remove NS1's name servers for the domain at the registrar and the DNS zone will not automatically be removed from the parking account.

If your DNS zone was created by another customer on NS1, please contact NS1 Support at ibm/support, or post here with your ownership's evidence, we will check the zone and handle it for you.

    Thank you

Got it, thanks for the speedy response! I will compile a list of domains and will contact NS1 Support.
