Hi Jon,
Much appreciate you taking the time to look at this and respond. I in the mean time I found that option too, but as you say, it isn't very convenient. I hope something can be done. Simply let cntr+d toggle data and variable view, for example.
Cheers,
Sebastiaan

Subject: SPSS 29 new overview tab - toggle data view and variable view
It's not quite as convenient as ctrl-t to toggle between DE tabs, but there is aother hot key. ctrl-t toggles between Overview and Variable View, and ctrl-d in Overview switches to Variable View and then to Data View. It seems to do nothing if you are in Data View, but ctrl-t ctrl-d takes you to Variable View from Data View. It seems to me that this does need some work.

Subject: SPSS 29 new overview tab - toggle data view and variable view
Hello,
I just switched to using SPSS 29 and saw there is a new overview tab next to the old data view and variable view. I often use the keyboard shortcut cntr+t to toggle between variable and data view, but this isn't working anymore. It now toggles only between the overview and data view tabs. Is there a way to disable overview tab completely (go back to only having the data and variable view tabs, or if that is not possible to toggle between all three tabs?
Any help much appreciated,
Thanks,
Sebastiaan
