Hi Everyone,

I am so excited to have the opportunity to be a hands-on lab instructor at the TechXchange Conference 2024.  My name is Caroline Gorham, Senior watsonx Technical Expert, and I will be joined by a few of my colleagues in leading 3 labs sessions related to Generative AI, LLMs and AI Assistants. There are over 1500+ sessions at the conference and you can check-out the ones I will be participating in below:

IBM TechXchange Lab: Synthetic Data Generation for LLMs and Tabular Data [2230]

Instructors: Catherine Cao & Caroline Gorham

Synthetic data generation is pivotal for overcoming data scarcity, ensuring privacy, and augmenting training and evaluation datasets in AI applications. Join us for a hands-on lab focusing on synthetic data generation techniques tailored for Large Language Model (LLM) applications and tabular data analysis. Through guided exercises, participants will explore cutting-edge tools and frameworks for generating synthetic text data suitable for LLM use cases, as well as techniques for synthesizing tabular data while preserving statistical properties, relationships, and distributions."

Top 3 things that you will learn in our session are:

·       How to generate synthetic tabular data from a customized data schema

·       How to generate synthetic data by mimicking existing data

·       How to generate a synthetic dataset of unstructured text data to fine-tune an LLM

IBM TechXchange Lab: Generative AI, NLP or ML? Bring them together in watsonx.ai to implement an AI-driven application [1926]

Instructors: Joseph Kozhaya & Caroline Gorham

In this hands-on lab, you'll learn how to implement AI-driven applications using watsonx.ai, a powerful platform that enables you to build, deploy, and manage AI-driven solutions. AI-driven applications contain multiple components, and watsonx.ai provides a comprehensive platform that allows you to integrate these components seamlessly.

Top 3 things that you will learn in our session are:

·       How to implement AI-driven applications using watsonx.ai

·       How to create and deploy large language model prompts and ML models

·       How to orchestrate execution of code with business rules

IBM TechXchange Lab: Build an AI Assistant in watsonx.ai [1911]

Instructors: Joseph Kozhaya, Caroline Gorham & Łukasz Ćmielowski

In this hands-on lab, you'll learn how to build an AI assistant using watsonx.ai. You'll work with open-source and IBM Large Language Models, as well as open-source frameworks, to create an AI assistant that can perform a variety of tasks.

Top 3 things that you will learn in our session are:

·       How to build an AI assistant using watsonx.ai to perform a variety of tasks

·       How to integrate an AI assistant with LLMs

·       How to perform a chain of tasks to complete a user’s requests

Make sure you register for the: TechXchange Conference from October 21-24, 2024 Mandalay Bay – Las Vegas.

·       IBM Community Members can get a 30% discount to the Conference using the details here.

I look forward to meeting you there!
