Advanced Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare

 Our Augmented Education Team , Assist. Prof. Dr. Moneer K. Faraj, Assist ( Consultant Neurosurgeon). Assist. Prof. Saifuldeen A. Mohammed ( Consultant)     Engineer), and Assistant  Chief Engineer ( Consultant Engineer)- University of Baghdad) in cooperation with the Arab Board for Health Specializations held a  workshop entitled ((Advanced Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare)) in Medical City  on  Thursday 14th-November-2024, the workshop included 3 Presentations with video files for demonstrations, as follows:

1- In the first presentation ((Diagnosis and treatment of tumors using IBM Watson for Oncology )),  Mr. Saifuldeen A. Mohammad, Assistant Professor in College of Engineering - University of Baghdad,  He had concentrated on practical aspects of using artificial intelligence IBM Watson for Oncology and how to use it with the possibility of applying it in Iraq, with practical examples by video files supporting the explanation on this topic.

2- In the second presentation ((Personalized Healthcare using generative cognitive artificial intelligence IBM Watsonx)),  Mr. Abdullah  A. Jassim , Assistant Chief Engineer and Head of the Artificial Intelligence Unit in Computer Center - University of Baghdad,  He had concentrated on the health and medical records EHR / EMR systems and radiological Pictures Archiving Communication System PACS were reviewed for storing, transmitting, retrieving and processing data from PET-SCAN, CT-SCAN, MRI, X-Ray devices in addition to the medical data transmission network for radiosurgery devices Radio Surgery, laboratory devices, surgical operating rooms and intensive care rooms, and how to achieve an integrated data management system for healthcare, and a health operations management system for hospitals and medical clinics within specialized data centers, HIPAA Compliance with IBM Healthcare Solutions, which are integrated with Nvidia, Intel and Microsoft technologies, to achieve health insurance requirements in Iraq according to international standards.

3- The third presentation ((Genomic Precision Medicine and Immunotherapy)),  Assistant Professor Dr. Moneer K. Faraj, Head of the Curricula and Training Committee of the Arab Board for Neurosurgery and he is a Teacher in College of Medicine - University of Baghdad,  Dr. Moneer had concentrated on genomic precision medicine and its components, IBM Genomic Medicine, Immunotherapy, Drug Design for Personalized Precision Medicine for specific genetic mutations and their potential effects for each person specifically. The infrastructure provided by artificial intelligence in the composition of drugs was reviewed and their positive effects and side effects were identified, Dr. Moneer reviewed the Epigenomics to find  possibility of conducting genetic analysis to detect diseases early and take measures to protect people in the early stages of genetic diseases and harmful genetic mutations.

 Our Augmented Education Team in University of Baghdad is a pioneer in serving the community and state institutions through workshops, Panel Discussions, Seminars and specialized conferences to develop Advanced Augmented Education in Iraq and in Arab Countries.

In this activity, University of Baghdad intend to achieve the UN SDGs as follows:
