Brian currently services IBM clients across the financial services sector and has responsibility for Data & AI software including watsonx. In this role, Brian works with clients to implement Machine Learning, Generative AI, Lakehouse, and Data Fabric capabilities. Over the past 10 years Brian has worked in a variety of sales leadership, engineering, and finance roles. Before IBM, Brian studied at the University of Massachusetts Amherst where he received degrees in Computer Science and Marketing.



Daniel Martin, Director and CTO, IDAA and Db2 Data Gate, IBM

Daniel Martin is the Director of Development and CTO for Analytics on IBM Z, located in IBM's Research & Development Lab in Boeblingen, Germany.

Daniel had various development and software architecture roles during his career, including working as the lead technical architect for the Db2 Analytics Accelerator and Db2 DataGate. He regularly speaks about these products and related technologies at industry conferences and shares his expertise on how to build modern applications that need mainframe data.
