Catch up with Jamie Squibb from the MQ team about "Maximizing availability with your IBM MQ"
Your MQ messages are so important to you that you don’t want to leave anything to chance, see how to make sure you maximize their availability to protect you from any failure. This presentation describes general high availability considerations and how they can be achieved with MQ. The spectrum of HA capabilities will be discussed, from z/OS queue sharing groups,  Replicated Data Queue Manager features for Linux to Native HA for container deployments.

Follow up questions from the session
A question was asked during the session about a performance comparison for the different high availability (HA) capabilities.

- The IBM MQ performance reports are available online at https://ibm-messaging.github.io/mqperf/
- The RDQM HA Performance report includes a comparison with multi-instance queue managers and a stand-alone (non-HA) environment.
- The Queue Manager Restart Times performance report also discusses factors that can affect the time it takes to restart a queue manager, which is relevant for high availability (HA) or disaster recovery (DR) fail-overs.
