What to expect:
This workshop provides hands-on experience to learn critical skills for managing Liberty and collectives in a VM environment. The course is designed for application server administrators and operations teams, with following learning objectives:
- Recommended practices for managing Liberty & collectives in VMs, using basic automation
- Accelerate Liberty configuration & deployment using Transformation Advisor’s deployment accelerators
- Deploy Liberty applications using best practices and flexible deployment model
- Upgrade Liberty fixpacks using Liberty’s “zero migration” architecture and best practices
- Implement Dynamic Routing and Session Persistence features for High-availability and Fail-Over for applications
- Day 2 operations using basic performance metrics and monitoring

- Modernizing your runtime to WebSphere Liberty
