    Hi All, 

    This is related to Transformation Advisor (TA) tool. We are trying to migrate apps to Liberty.

    We have springboot application with embedded tomcat (JAR file). We are doing analysis with TA. Once Run Data Collection, the report shows "Shared libraries" instead of "applications". I am not sure whether if we provide only JAR file for analysis TA tool identifies it as Shared Libraries. If so, will it generate Migration plan for Liberty runtime?  Can you please help whether migration plan will be generated if we just provide application in JAR file?

    Hi there,
    Currently you will get a full assessment of the jar files (we do give them the title of "Shared libraries"), but we do not provide any way to generate a migration plan for jar files.
    A quick workaround would be to create a war that wraps the jar and rescan that - then you will get a migration plan
    However, there may still be some issues around configuration for your migration
