    Posted 11 days ago

    Hi,team.

I would like to install Installation Manager 1.9.2.8 in order to install WAS9.0.5 on AIX7.3.2.1.
IIM 1.9.2.8 requires gtk3, please tell me where to get it.

It did not exist in aixtoolbox.

    Hello,
I know this doesn't respond to your question directly, but GTK is required to use IIM in GUI mode. Do you have any requirement to install WAS in GUI mode?
Does your AIX support GUI environment in the first place?

We can also install WAS in CLI mode like below.
    https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/was-nd/9.0.5?topic=offerings-installing-product-by-using-command-line

And WASv9 also support console mode installation of IIM. With this, you can perform the equivalent operation to GUI mode on your AIX terminal.
    https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/installation-manager/1.9.2?topic=mode-starting-console
Both CLI and console mode don't depend on GTK libraries.
    Hope this helps.

    Thank you for answering.
This is a procedure to use gtk from the previous usage pattern, and it is a request from a customer who wants to use the same procedure as in the past.

I'm still wondering if your customer have actually used GUI mode as the "usage pattern", but for questions related to gtk3, you would need to engage AIX technical/forum support.
