Can you add an existing jvm to a cluster? If so, how?

I assume this is about tWAS.  If this is a new cluster tWAS allows you to select a member.  However, once the cluster is created you cannot add another existing server to the cluster.

As Brain mentioned before you can not add an existing server to an existing cluster (why would you want to do that?) However if you create a new cluster you can add an existing server as a cluster member.

If you have an existing cluster and need an additional cluster member you can just add one on the node where you'd like to have the JVM (=Application Server) running and Dmgr will make sure it gets all the applications etc. Just need to adjust the server settings like JVM Arguments, Log settings. etc.

    Hope that helps, Hermann

Thank you. idk why the customer asked me that question. I'd have to look into it further.
