IBM Rational Test 10.2.3 is here!

We are excited to announce IBM Rational Test Automation Server now runs on the Azure Kubernetes Service!

As the summer begins, create your automation scripts to get work done so you can enjoy quality time with friends and family while on vacation or staycation.  Scroll down to view a few of the highlighted features or click the links to view all the new features in Rational Test 10.2.3. 

Rational Test Automation Server (RTAS)

  • Installing server software on Azure Kubernetes Service.
  • Viewing test run results on the Azure test plans dashboard.
  • Export Queries by selecting the script, the output format, and the number of results that are returned by the query.
  • Support running additional test assets from Jenkins.
  • View or hide the details of the License Server on the License Configuration page.
  • Viewing or editing load test profile details for Schedule.

Rational Test Workbench (RTW) includes RPT, RIT and RFT.  If you use the standalone RPT and RFT, the new features are present.

Rational Performance Tester (RPT)

  • Auto-save the load test profile details of test assets.
  • Enhancements to integration plugins to provide additional parameters that you can use when you run tests from the integrated product.
RIT Enhancement parameters 10.2.3

Rational Integration Tester (RIT) and Rational Test Virtualization Server (RTVS)

  • Integration with HCL AppScan so that HTTP traffic is consumed by HCL AppScan enabling scanning for security vulnerabilities.
  • Enhanced column width to auto-adjust in the SQL Query action definition dialog box by adjust the column width to match the characters in the column name.
  • Viewing test run results on the Azure test plans dashboard.

Rational Functional Tester (RFT)

  • Support record and playback Web UI tests in the private mode of web browsers and use the command line to run tests in the private mode.
  • Resource monitoring of mobile devices and applications metrics of Android applications, devices, or emulators, or iOS applications or devices.
