We are pleased to announce the general availablility of IBM Semeru Runtime, Open Edition v8.0.362, 11.0.18, 17.0.6 . This release is based on Eclipse OpenJ9 0.36 and 0.36.1 (v 11 only) and OpenJDK jdk8u362-b09, jdk-11.0.18+10, jdk-17.0.6+10. The binaries are available on our standard distribution sites on Feb 16. With these releases IBM Semeru Open Edition contains the latest CPU and security fixes from the OpenJDK Jan’23 updates.
