We are pleased to announce the general availability of IBM® Semeru Runtime™ Open Edition 4Q24 quarterly updates. These releases are based on Eclipse OpenJ9 0.48 and OpenJDK jdk8u432-b06, jdk-11.0.25+9, jdk-17.0.13+11, jdk-21.0.5+11 and jdk-23.0.1+11 respectively.  The binaries are available on our standard distribution sites as on Nov 18, 2024. With these releases, IBM Semeru Runtime Open Edition contains the latest CPU and security fixes from the OpenJDK Oct’24 updates.

The 4Q24 quarterly update of IBM Semeru Runtime Open Edition contains the following key updates:

• Partial Brainpool RFC 8734 Support. Read more about the same here (available for IBM Semeru Runtimes 17+).
