We are pleased to announce the general availability of IBM Semeru Runtime Certified Edition for z/OS 11.0.20.1. This release contains OpenJDK 11.0.20.1+b01 (Jul'23 CPU Update). The binaries have been made available on our standard distribution sites as on Oct 03, 2023.

IBM Semeru Runtime Certified Edition for z/OS 11.0.20.1 contains the following in addition to the security fixes, bug fixes and other improvements:

• zEnterprise Data Compression
• Ability to specify safkeyring and java.protocol.handler.pkgs
• Prerequisite PTFs list updated for the z/OS operating system levels
• This release also contains features from the latest release of the Eclipse OpenJ9 project, as listed in the Version 0.40 OpenJ9 user documentation.
