Installing and managing WebSphere Automation in an air gapped environment

By JAREK GAWOR posted Tue February 01, 2022 02:40 PM

On January 26th, @JAGADEESWAR GANGARAJU and I presented an IBM Expert TV session about installing and managing WebSphere Automation in an air-gapped environment. We discussed different air gap installation scenarios, including using a bastion host, a portable host, or a portable storage device. We covered the key installation steps, from downloading the CASE metadata to mirroring the container images and configuring the Red Hat OpenShift cluster. We also discussed how to configure WebSphere Automation to run in an air-gapped environment and how to upgrade it. Finally, @JAGADEESWAR GANGARAJU gave a great demonstration on how to perform an air gap installation by using a portable storage device.
