Rolling out CLM on Jazz within today’s large IT enterprises is not an easy endeavor. IBM provides some out-of-the-box process templates to get you started, but they do not cover the breadth of IT reality. Additionally, without proper governance, teams can start customizing and diverging their configurations from any starting point, which will greatly increase administration costs down the road, as well as derail enterprise consistency and reporting.
Webcast attendees learned how to better develop, manage, and govern enterprise templates for use in Rational Team Concert, DOORS Next Generation, and Rational Quality Manager. Carson Holmes also discussed the realities of integrating CLM with other vendor applications using Tasktop Sync and discussed how to use Rational Insight to achieve full lifecycle traceability.
