Rick Post, Workload Automation Service Team Lead, University of Wisconsin
Rick Post is the workload automation service team lead for the University of Wisconsin – Madison and the newest member on the board of directors of ASAP - a user/customer-driven nonprofit providing the best training, education and network for users of IBM Workload Automation products. Rick has been in IT for 30 years including such places as Lands’ End and the last 16 years at the UW. He started working with TWS as a user in 1997 and then moved to the administration side in 2008. He is also the vice president of the newly formed Midwest TWS User Group. His current position includes working with both TWSz and TWSd. Most of the focus was on the mainframe until the UW System decided to implement a new human resource system. Now the majority if his time is spent on TWSd. His main goal at work is to automate everything. Rick spends most of his free time golfing, bowling and riding his Harley.
