watsonx is IBM’s enterprise-ready Data and AI platform, encompassing training, testing, and deploying AI technologies. One key component of watsonx is watsonx.ai, which facilitates generative AI using Large Language Models (LLMs). In this tutorial, we explore how to integrate watsonx Assistant (IBM’s chatbot platform) with watsonx.ai’s generative AI services. By doing so, we bring powerful generative AI capabilities directly into watsonx Assistant. The tutorial covers obtaining the OpenAPI definition for the watsonx.ai foundation model, creating a virtual assistant in xatsonx Assistant, generating an API key, and retrieving the watsonx.ai project ID12. This integration opens up exciting possibilities for enhancing chatbot interactions within the context of Maximo and other applications.
