The following topic walks you through the upload validation steps for Studio v12 specifically around new or removed columns.
Add a new column
This is what you will see in the Import step if you would upload a data set that includes a new column:

In this example, you will see that there is the number 1 that is next to the Import step. This number indicates there is a possible issue with this step. If you hover the mouse pointer over the number, you will see a note saying “New Cost Center: Column was added.” There will be a number for every new column that has been added, so if there are 3 new columns then you will see a 3.
On the righthand side, you will see that the New Cost Center column is highlighted in red. This lets you know that there is something different with that column after the new upload. To remove the number next to the Import step and the red highlight around the New Cost Center column, you will have to click the green plus button next to the New Cost Center column.

After clicking the plus button, you will see that the number next to the Import step and the red highlight are removed.

NOTE Please make sure that you validate the column issue before trying to remove the error. If the column should have changed, then remove the error, but if the error is a mistake then fix the file and upload the data again.
Remove a column
Here is what you will see in the Import step if you would upload a data set that removes a column.

In this example, the number 1 is next to the Import step. The number indicates that there is a possible issue with this step. If you hover the mouse pointer over the number, you will see a note saying “Fixed: Column does not exist.” There will be a number for every removed column, so if three columns have been removed, you will see a 3.
On the righthand side you will see that the Fixed column is highlighted in red. This lets you know there is something different with that column after the new upload. To get remove the number next to the Import step and the red highlight around the Fixed column, click the red X button next to the Fixed column.

After clicking the X, you will see that the number next to the Import step and the red highlight are removed.

NOTE Please make sure that you validate the column issue before trying to remove the error. If the column should have changed, then remove the error, but if the error is a mistake then fix the file and upload the data again.
