Troubleshooting connection to Datalink manager and Datadrop from inside customer network

  1. On the server where your on-premise Datalink agent is installed (or planned to be installed), search for the Powershell application.
  2. Right-click the Powershell application and select Run as Administrator.
  3. Input the following commands in the Powershell application to test connections:
    • Command to test your connection to Datalink manager:
      Test-NetCOnnection -ComputerName dl-??????????-manager.apptio.com -Port 443
      • Replace dl-??????????-manager.apptio.com with your organization's Apptio Datalink Manager URL
    • Command to test your connection to Datalink manager:
      Test-NetCOnnection -ComputerName datadrop.apptio.com -Port 22
