Apptio Community is a true community because so many of our members are willing to share their challenges and help each other succeed. There are fresh examples of this everyday. You can see people in different regions and in different industries, taking the time to help each other with Apptio questions or celebrate each other's success.
A lot of our community members do this, but a few of our members have been doing it for so long or with so much impact that they have reached "TBM Royalty"
Community members get points based on the type and quality of their interactions. These points are visible in your profile (maybe you've noticed ) and collecting points moves you through participation tiers. Our highest tier is TBM Royalty.
Out of the 1,585 customers we currently have on the Apptio Community, 10 customers have reached TBM Royalty.
You probably already recognize their names...

This is the first year we've had multiple customers reach TBM Royalty so we wanted to make sure to recognize the first wave of people who have helped define what the Royalty tier means. We couldn't know, when we created the designation, who would earn it or when, but it's not surprising to see the first 10 slots filled by people who consistently offer help and encouragement to other members and press Apptio to continuously improve.
Thank you to all our current and future TBM Royals. In honor of our first 10 Royals, starting today, anyone who reaches this tier will notice a Royalty symbol added next to your Community profile name.
As a TBM Royal, your contributions extend beyond our virtual forum and help real people in th
e real world, so we also want to show our appreciation beyond this digital thank you. @Lauren Pagan has been putting together a small collection of royal items to recognize your achievement. Don't get too excited - I mean "royal" in the Community sense of the word. So nothing extravagant, just some tokens of appreciation for the many times you've answered a question for another member, shared your thoughts on a discussion, cheered on an Elite TBMA candidate and generally helped to advance the Apptio Community.
Thank you, @Jenny Franklin, @Julie Batty, @Thodi Andersson, @Ben Haines, @Oliver Smith, @Michelle McGuire, Juan José Jarillo, @Bhawna Singh, @Laila Fivian, Srikanth Satakopan.
I can't wait to see who else joins the group.
