Overview

The Teradata database driver enables connecting to the database using the JDBC DataLink connector.

Download the Teradata database driver 

You will find attached at the bottom of this article a Teradata database driver (teradata_combined_driver_16.jar) that works with the JDBC DataLink connector. The driver is now combined into a single .jar file that works for DataLink.

1. Right-click the file attachment below, then click Save Link (or Target) As.
2. Choose a location, then click Save. Save the file to a directory accessible by your on prem agent.

Configure the Teradata database driver 

After you download the driver, complete these steps:

1. Create a new General Database connector and configure the location of the downloaded .jar file.
2. Configure the Driver class to com.teradata.jdbc.TeraDriver.
3. Configure the JDBC URL, which you can obtain from your database administrator.
4. Configure the credentials and enter a database query that you can obtain from database administrator as well.
