When I'm talking about the importance of properly supporting and educating TBMAs, I use simple images to show how TBMAs work with Apptio and the value they provide...

I explain how TBMAs are business minded; how they help find insights and communicate with stakeholders.
But as a Community member, you already know all of that ;-)
So on this forum we can dig in a little deeper.
Imagine we zoom in on the TBMAs above. What would we see? Well in this case we'd see they don't have faces and that's weird. But aside from that, we would see the work that's packed into that little grey arrow.

We would see TBMAs working with their Apptio team through the Customer Experience Map.
Moments of Truth:
Executive Value Review
Data Readiness
Executive Review
First Process Execution
You've probably lived some or all of these Moments of Truth. You know the highs of a big accomplishment as well as the points that really made you sweat. There are plenty of wins and accomplishments with Apptio and we do a lot of celebrating around here. But in this case, we're focusing on the challenges. I'm working on compiling a list of the activities where TBMAs
(or their TBMOs) struggle. Once we have an updated list, my team will think about ways we can help. Maybe we can create something to help you better communicate TBM concepts, get a data owner on board, or just increase your understanding of an Apptio feature. We have all sorts of tools in our belt and that doesn't even get into the magic potions. You may have heard, @Lauren Pagan is a wizard.
We've already built several launch kits, but I'm sure there's more opportunity for us to help. Especially because we built the launch kits at a time when this Community was nowhere near as active as it is today. Now, we have plenty of people in all stages of the Customer Experience Map with a proven record of making valuable community contributions.
So here's how you can help:
- Think for a moment about your experience implementing Apptio. At what points did you struggle? ...Sorry if you were trying to block those out ;-)
- Tell us about those moments.
You can
- Leave comments on this post
OR
- If it's easier for you to talk than type, let @Paolo Coppa know you're open to having a quick chat.
- He's conducting 10-20 min interviews on this very subject.
You know how we're fans of transparency on this community. So I'll share the list once we compile it, and anything we're planning to build to help. Paolo, Lauren, and I are collecting items for this list through June 8.
