@Ed Hayman - thank you for coming back here. Based on your response can I assume the "current functionality" is to NOT allocate on negative weightings at all when this option is selected, irrespective of their significance.​ This is still unclear for me.

@Mark Johnson  Negative/positive weighting has always been a complex issue and we do not plan to change the current functionality.  There are two options you can follow:
  1. Weight by the absolute value, or
  2. Split your allocation into two separate lines -- one for positive values and one for negative values. 
You can then use the "insignificant weights" option for the positive values.  Please let me know if you need further technical support.  ​​

@Ed Hayman - I attempted to use the new "Ignore insignificant weights" functionality for cost allocation from Vendors -> CSP. On ​first assessment this function looked good and I checked in the changes. However I have now had to revert this back out as it is not allocating against negative weightings that are  "significant". Only weightings (Cost) with values greater than 0 are receiving a cost allocation.
Please advise if the expected functionality here is to deem values less than zero as "insignificant" as the attached PPT is not clear on this point.
