I responded privately to Tod, today because I saw no possibilities to reply to all... it makes no sense to open a support case.
The table Tod tries to offer is a standard verify.js, a
the standard Datacap solution and does not help you if you are using APT. I presume at the moment you use APT?
If you decide to use the standard solution the IBM Datacap software then:
- you have to change the application and create the layout.xml using for example Recognize
OCRA
Abbyy
- CreateAll fields actions and in case the table is recognized by OCRA,
- you have to extract using a custom action your table(s).
the image Tod sent you is created in this way...
The standard plugin ICN Datacap verify.js offers only possibilities with
-
table(s) on one page
(the table must not continue on more pages) and
-
fix number of columns
-> you cannot add/remove / insert columns.
The functionality was developed by the IBM Datacap developer team, for a project I was very deeply engaged in the past and it is a very good one.
hope it helps
have a nice day...
dorothea
