Summary

Recently, it seems there isn’t a day that goes by without an announcement of a new innovation in large language models (LLMs) and generative AI. But is it coming to an end? The current iteration of LLMs has just about  run its course; LLMs are quickly approaching (or have already hit) limits that cannot be solved by simply putting more GPUs on the problem. This session will examine the limits of current LLM technology and explore recent advances, such as small language models, that are emerging to overcome them. We'll also look at how these innovations are making their way into the watsonx platform. Attendees will leave the session with knowledge and concrete solutions they can use to avoid and overcome LLM limits in their own solutions.
