Introduction to Security in WebSphere Liberty

In this session, we'll discuss how Liberty supports various security components including transport level security (SSL/TLS), authentication (basic/form/certificate), single sign-on using SAML, SPNEGO, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect. We'll also cover how Liberty supports user repositories and the federation of these.

Speaker:

Jim Mulvey is a senior technical staff member (STSM) on the IBM WebSphere Application Server development team. He is the lead architect overseeing the security components and the application server support for IBM Z. Prior to working in the WebSphere organization, he spent ten years as a developer and architect in IBM z/OS development.
