11.1 R03 – November 2025

• Introduced the following flow steps in IBM webMethods Service Designer:
  IF, ELSEIF, ELSE, SWITCH, CASE, WHILE, and DO-UNTIL.
• Enhanced code coverage in the webMethods Integration Test Suite component with extended support for the newly added flow steps.
• Applied minor bug fixes and general stability improvements.
• Key updates in MSR:
  • Configuration variables template can now set default values for environment variables and Kubernetes Secrets.
  • Support for user-specified encryption keys for configuration variables.
  • LDAP and CDS groups can be added to allow or deny lists for ACLs (Access Control Lists) through configuration variable templates.
  • New configuration variables introduced for:
    • SFTP server and user aliases
    • JDBC connection pool alias
    • Keystores and truststores
    • LDAP cache settings
  • New configuration variables to:
    • Allow restricted services to execute from a custom package
    • Indicate a package-level global variable
  • Added a new environment variable and startup switch to set the encryption key for configuration variables.
  • Configuration variable templates can now set logger values during Microservices Runtime startup.
  • New Prometheus metrics for:
    • Reporting startup errors (non-ServiceException) and identifying packages with load issues
    • Monitoring hybrid requests on on-premises Integration Server from webMethods Cloud

11.1 R02 - February 2025

• Made it simpler to share packages via package registry with support for single git repo per package.
• Resolved multiple security vulnerabilities.
• Flat file parser improvements.
• Fixed an issue when creating Document Type assets from an XML Schema Definition (XSD) file.

• Introduce new assets to use Event Streaming for both inbound and outbound processing with Kafka.
• Package Registry Integration.
• Can now create Referenced data assets directly for use in services.
• New asset properties for improved life cycle management.

• You can now use webMethods CloudStreams Service Development to design and develop CloudStreams assets, such as Cloud Connector Services and Connector Listeners.
