The IBM Security Access Manager Support team will explain RSYSLOG integration patterns. This session will cover the various integration points to send Access Manager events, logs, and tracing to RSYSLOG. Technical Support experts David Hooks and Nicholas Lloyd will cover each channel available and how each channel may be customized.
An example is sending Reverse Proxy audit logs using TLSv1.2 with mutual TLS certificate authentication. Customers will find this especially useful for Docker deployments. While the ISAM Docker image does support persistent storage, using RSYSLOG allows for easier consolidation of logs when running 100s of container in orchestration environments such as Red Hat® OpenShift®.
