Put your data to work, wherever it resides, with the hybrid, open data lakehouse for AI and analytics
Existing customers of DataStax Enterprise will be able to continue to run their mission critical applications on DataStax Enterprise 5.1 and 6.x for several more years. This official DSE Support Lifecycle transition announcement covers the details.
The goal is to ensure that mission control applications that leverage DataStax Enterprise’s advanced workloads continue to run without disruption. DataStax customers should continue using their current operations management, observability, drivers and connectors with DSE.
When ready, enterprises can migrate to the Hyper Converged Database on watsonx.data platform. That will deliver Apache Cassandra 5.0 features, a new management and observability interface, and an analytics platform for your GenAI applications.
Location of DataStax Documentation:
The https://docs.datastax.com/en/home/index.html page and associated content will eventually be moved under the IBM documentation web site. This migration will be ongoing in 2026.
Change of DataStax Enterprise Marketplace listings:
As of Transfer of Business, marketplace transactions will no longer take place on the DataStax Marketplace listings. Instead, IBM Marketplace listings will be available in the near future.
Customers will be able to leverage their cloud accounts to order subscriptions to DataStax Enterprise.
