Some file sources like ServiceNow may contain data with characters like the euro currency symbol and long or short dashes. When Datalink uploads these files a proper encoding should be set so that these symbols appear in Apptio destination.

Starting with Datalink release 4.4.2 (new-master-6576) and

Apptio Destination version R11.8.3.5 a proper encoding can be set in the connector which will allow these characters to appear properly.

Select a common encoding like WINDOWS-1252 in the connector destination section. The Data Encoding section appears once other fields like Domain and Project are correctly configured in the Apptio Destination.
