Open Liberty and Microprofile demonstration

In the demonstration, I use a simple Rest Service that is built using these core JAVA EE / Microprofile features:

  • JAX-RS
  • JSON-P
  • CDI

I focus on the following Microprofile capabilities with Open Liberty to develop resiliency and fault-tolerance into the service.

  • Fault-Tolerance
    • Timeout
    • Retry
    • Circuitbreaker
    • Fallback
  • Health-Check
  • Config
