DataLink 4.6.10 (Build 8557): Release Notes

This release adds support for encoding in the SOAP connector, a new OAuth2.0 grant type called client_credentials, improves error messaging for Trusted Advisor connectors, and addresses issues with deleted connectors reappearing as well as connectors stuck in "Waiting to be run" status in certain situations.

 

New Features

  • Provide encoding options besides ISO-8859-1 for SOAP connector [DL-5603]
  • More descriptive error messages for AWS Trusted Advisor connector [DL-5406]
  • Support OAuth 2.0 grant type: client credentials [DL-5292]

 

Compatibility

  • Upgrade the DL manager and DL engine to this version to receive all the features and improvements. The DL agent does not need to be upgraded.
  • Upgrading of just the DL engine is supported and will result in the improvements specific to the engine, but we recommend upgrading all components for best results. Specifically, the OAuth 2.0 and SOAP encoding support require the DL manager to be upgraded as well.

 

Bug Fixes

  • During upgrade, old connectors reappear when the config file already exists in the backup folder [DL-5594]
  • Connectors stuck in "Waiting to be run" status due to ConnectorExecutionQueue exception [DL-5582]
