Containers, Docker and Microservice Best Practices

Fri November 18, 2016 01:53 PM

The webcast will begin with a review of what microservices are and the benefits that a microservices architecture can bring. Next we will look at why containers, and Docker in particular, are a good fit for microservices. We’ll then cover best practices for using Docker for microservices, in both development and production.

Speaker: David Currie is the Docker Architect for WebSphere Application Server. He previously worked on the WAS Liberty Cloud Foundry/Bluemix support and has an interest in cloud native applications and microservices.
